One Call Away: Our God Connects to Us
This series seeks to bring the kids on a quest to understand that our God is a God that connects and relates to us. Kids often have an awareness that God exists, but this series aims to help kids realise that He is also a God that connects to us, just like a friend. This includes God listening to our prayers, speaking to us and making Himself known to us! By highlighting the trait of God that He is a relational God, we hope that the kids will choose to connect back to God on their own. God connects with us, and is near us, He is really just one call away if we choose to connect to Him!
Series Aim: To help kids understand that God connects with us and for the kids to learn to connect to God.
Week 1 (13th Feb 2022)
Big Point: God Hears Me
God’s Word: Hannah Prays to God (1 Samuel 1)
Memory Verse: Here is what we can be sure of when we come to God in prayer. If we ask anything in keeping with what he wants, he hears us. 1 John 5:14 (NIRV)
Application: I will talk to God because He hears me.
