Deep Dive: Sin
In this Deep Dive series, we want to understand the nature of sin better and what sin really is. Kids often understand sin as ‘bad things’, but sins are not necessarily bad things or doing bad. Sin is simply putting other things above God! This series aims to help kids understand the nature of sin better and seeks to empower kids to choose God over sin.
Series Aim: To help kids understand what is the nature of sin and help kids to choose to put God and His Word first.
Week 1 (21st Feb 2021)
Big Point: Sin is Putting Other things above God
God’s Word: Adam and Eve Sin (Genesis 3:1-7) + Romans 5:12
Memory Verse: When you sin, the pay you get is death. But God gives you the gift of eternal life. That’s because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done. Romans 6:23 (NIRV)
